I’m excited to share a video tour of our skoolie home! It is the first video tour that’s been done, so it’s a real treat!
Make sure you go check out
Chris’ channel with lots of other great videos.
But for now… what SuzieBee looks like inside and some details about how she is built.
I’m way behind around here. In everything…
Pe@rl on the road again
But it’s okay. Because I decided to take advantage of self employment, and rearranged my schedule to fit my purposes… For a change!
Bounce the baby
We did a whirlwind 2 day, overnight, trip to VT to take advantage of visiting family!
We packed up the camper, and drove down. It’s the first time I’ve ever camped in the winter (and we were quite comfy…!) despite it being in the teens!
It was the first “weekend” I’d had off in a while, and it happened on a Thursday-Friday so now I have no idea what day it is…
brother, sister-in-law, and niece were visiting my parents’ for the week. And it’s the second time we got to see baby niece, now she’s about 9 months old, and a small bundle of smiles.
Despite having caught some germs on the plane ride here, she was still cheery and we got in lots of baby bouncing and snuggles…
Now back to regular programming…
Thanks for coming along for
the ride on our 2 week road trip- Maine to Seattle!
All total, our trip totals according to my
mileage tracker app…
542 gallons of gas
$1389 in fuel (for an average of $2.56/gal)
Averaged 13.5 mpg!
We drove thru 20 states. Slept at 4 Walmarts. Stayed at 3 campgrounds, and 2
Ohio travel plazas (Blue Heron & Middle Ridge).
Pe@rl was amazing, and more than exceeded all our expectations. And I can’t wait to go camping at our favorite places with her! It’s definitely made it much easier to travel with such crazy allergies. And will make camping easier, but still camping 🙂 You won’t hear much about her for the winter, but she’ll be back next year!
